Why the report belongs on the device you are carrying anyway
A classic handover runs in two stages: paper and pen on site first, then the transcription at the computer in the evening. It is that second stage where the errors happen – illegible notes, lost slips of paper, transposed digits in meter readings, photos nobody can match to the right room any more.
With the app that stage disappears. You fill in the report during the walk-through, room by room, and complete it right there in the flat. Administration – templates, users, properties – is done afterwards in the browser. You choose the device: a smartphone for a quick appointment, a tablet for a comfortable overview, a laptop at the office.

Do I need an internet connection during the handover?
No. The report is filled in and signed entirely offline. It is transferred and sent as soon as the device has a connection again.
Which devices are supported?
Capture runs on smartphones and tablets, administration in the browser – so it is independent of the operating system. The eMODAT app is available on the App Store.
Can several staff members carry out handovers at the same time?
Yes. From the Premium edition onwards several users work with their own accounts; the reports come together centrally.
Do I have to recreate my templates?
No. Your existing forms are reproduced as templates, so your familiar process stays intact.
